◆ 2020 marks second season on Angels coaching staff following appointment Dec. 3, 2018 (replacing
Alfredo Griffin)...Prior to joining Halos as first base and Outfield Coach, spent five seasons in Cubs
organization...In 2018, was hitting coach for Double-A Tennessee following two seasons (2016-17)
as manager for Single-A Eugene...During second season at helm of Eugene, Club finished second
in Northwest League, falling in finals to Vancouver Canadians...In 2016, his Emeralds captured the
Northwest League title, the Club’s first since 1975...Tabbed as 2016 Northwest League Manager of
the Year...Served as hitting coach for Single-A South Bend in 2015 and Single-A Boise in 2014 . . .In

◆ Played 15 seasons of professional baseball, reaching Majors in 2010 with New York Mets...Appeared
in 54 games for Mets following debut, June 10...Posted a .231 (25/108) clip with four doubles, a
triple and three RBI at the Major League level...Over the course of career in minors with Dodgers
(1998-2003), Tampa Bay (2003-04 & 2012), Washington (2005-06) and Mets (2007-11), amassed a
.282 (1,503/5,328) average with 204 doubles, 21 triples, 23 home runs, 457 RBI, 691 runs scored
and 199 stolen bases...Played for Team Puerto Rico during 2009 World Baseball Classic, batting
.375 (6/16) in six games...Team was eliminated by Team USA in the Pool 2 semi-finals.
