         instructor...Appointed  to  current  position  Dec.  3,  2018...Spent
         previous three years (2016-18) as Angels assistant hitting coach...
         In  2019, saw  Mike  Trout  win  his  third  career  MVP  award  after
         posting career highs in home runs and slugging percentage . . .2018
         saw Angels improve team OPS 14 points compared to 2017 (.712
         OPS/.726  OPS)...In  2017,  Martín  Maldonado  improved  batting
         average by over 20 points and Andrelton Simmons improved home
         runs  (14  HR/4  HR)  and  RBI  (69  RBI/44  RBI)  compared  to  2016   sorrento

         Bay (1998-99), compiling a .257 (876/3412) career average with 176 doubles, five triples, 166 home runs
         and 565 RBI...Tallied three straight 20+ home run seasons from 1995-97, including a career-best 31 in 1997
         with Seattle...Played in postseason three different times, including two trips to World Series...Was member
         of 1991 World Series champion Minnesota Twins...Played in opening game at Camden Yards, Apr. 6, 1992
         and logged first hit in ballpark’s history...Signed with Tampa Bay Devil Rays during their inaugural season in
         1998...With his Opening Day start, became first designated hitter in franchise history...Originally drafted by
