Mission: To improve the quality of life for the people we serve and the community we live in through
services focusing on the whole person in the context of family and community.

• Alcohol, drug & gambling education
• Assessment & referral
• Individual counselling
• Group therapy
• Youth programs
• Family therapy, intervention and parent support
• Training workshops
• Aftercare
• Relapse prevention
• Methadone Clinic
• Crisis Response is available during office hours
BC Mental Health & Addictions Services utilizes a Primary Care Model with clinicians, nurses,
psychiatrists and social workers working hand in hand in the application of services. A biopsychosocial
model guides the plan of care and a cognitive behavioural approach is used for counselling.
