Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter was founded on the campus of Alabama A&M College, Normal, Alabama on March
19, 1949. Pictured above are the ten Charter Members, six first initiates and the Regional Director following the
chartering of Epsilon Gamma Omega. Currently, EGO has two Charter Members in our chapter today, Charter Member
Fannie Pulley and Charter Member Evangeline Spillman. The Newsletter Committee developed questions for an
interview type style article. Soror Marian Guidry, member of the Newsletter Committee, spoke one-on-one with
Charter Member Evangeline Spillman, to find out her account of Epsilon Gamma Omega sixty-six years ago. Charter
Member Pulley was not available for the interview.
