Moore. Another champion to be explored is Bob Marcellino.

Marcellino won the 1968 National Championship in Louisville, KY, but

that was not where the tournament was supposed to be played. His
accomplishment is interesting – especially with the entry of a new

player on tour by the name of Ricky Smith. Smith was a young putting

phenom out of Indianapolis, Indiana who received special permission to
turn pro in 1965 at the age of 15. During the National championship of

1968, Smith was one year older than Marcellino. To this day,
Marcellino is the only player to accomplish a special feat by winning the

National Championship. Smith won two World Championships, but

never a National Championship. Read on to discover Marcellino’s
accomplishment.
