Blue Course – Hole 12

The challenge with this hole is getting the ball far enough to the left

side of the hole (looking at the hole from the tee mat) to allow the left
to right break from the back rail to work the ball to the hole. Some

players will place a hooking spin on the ball to force the ball off the left

and back rail with enough momentum to negate the left to right break.
Some players will hit early on the left rail; however, the small mound

could send the ball flying out-of-bounds, resulting in a stroke penalty.

The third option is to play it straight going between the mound and
obstacle to let the natural break take it to the hole; however, there is a

fine line of which the break disappears, sending the ball straight back

that could result in a stymie between the mound and obstacle.
