Blue Course – Hole 15
One of the closing holes for the championship, this hole can be a
confidence builder or demoralizer. Most players will bank the ball off
the right rail to neutralize the angled incline. The hole is at the edge of
the incline on the flat surface. The right-rail bank also eliminates the
lengthy par putt. The putts from the back are not difficult, but it’s the
slight push or pull that will introduce a lengthy recovery putt from the
area below. Some players will select a different way of playing the first
putt and will opt to play to the left of the obstacle and come in from
behind the hole, leaving a very short par putt. However, a bit of an
over-hit will result in the same challenging putt from below.
