Vice President Message - NORTH AMERICAN Chapter
New Jersey, USA California, USA New Jersey, USA
Our association with TEF-Australia goes back to nearly a dozen
years. Members of the North American Chapter of TEF remain strong
partners, supporters, and admirers of TEF. The mission of TEF is
selfless-work towards uplifting those who are in dire need of a helping
hand. The motto of TEF has been - No help is small, no one can do
everything, everyone can do something. That call of TEF for generous
help has been answered many times over by a large number of well
wishers, from every walk of life, from every continent.
Over the years the TEF support has reached a large number of people-
in-need in dire circumstances of not their own making. The long list

Toronto, Canada and guiding light for a better future, widows needing a small startup seed fund for home business
to support the family, young university students needing living-allowance for daily livelihood while
continuing university education, small farmers aspiring to advance farming practices, those aspiring
to start a home business or advance new technologies such as drip irrigation for farming in a nearly
arid land, and at present covid-19 pandemic-affected daily wage earners needing support to carry
on their lives. It also includes those who need urgent medical care, eye surgeries for correcting
vision, and the like. This has not been possible without the goodwill of the many volunteers in the
receiving land, including Sri Lanka, who identified critical population in need of help and successfully
carried out the projects.
On behalf of the TEF grant recipients who have greatly benefited, we would like to extend our gratitude
and thanks to each and every global citizen who has voluntarily helped or donated financially or in-
kind for this great humanitarian cause. We have no doubt that such help and goodwill will continue
for years to come.
We would also like to specially thank our North American Chapter members for having been
ambassadors and spreading the word to the well wishers and help the cause and those who
have come forward to fund some of TEF charity projects. We also recognize and salute the other
Chapters of TEF for their much larger scale and tireless work on bringing the message to everyone
by organizing community activities and fund-raising events, year after year, creating an environment
for nourishing human touch, connectivity, and friendship with well wishers and keeping this alive
and well.
I have personally enjoyed the warm friendship of all of you, and thank you for that. We congratulate
you, the TEF-family, for successfully helping with and carrying on this great humanitarian tradition.
