Essential Performance
The performance of the Communicator that is English
determined to be essential by Boston Scientific for
electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, as per
IEC 60601-1-2, is the ability to:
• Communicate with your implanted device.
• Identify alert conditions in your implanted
device.
• Receive measurements from optional health
monitoring equipment.
• Communicate implanted device data and alert
conditions to the LATITUDE system.
• Communicate measurements and alert
conditions from optional health monitoring
equipment to the LATITUDE system.
• Receive configuration updates from the
LATITUDE system.
