Cameron. She mentioned she had a special visitor. Who could it be? It was
her mom!
(Backround) - Sarah and I had known each other since elementary school, so
I knew her mother well. I hadn’t seen her mom in probably 15 to 20 years. I
was so excited and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect day to see all of
them. Once my hair appointment was done, I jumped in my car and headed
to Sarah’s. I was so excited, that I'd forgot about my eye. Fifteen minutes
later, I arrived at her house.
As I knocked on the door, Sarah, Cameron and her mom came right out. I was
filled with so much emotion, I didn’t realize, until then. This whole eye
experience had been such a roller coaster of emotions. All I could think about
was how lucky I am to have the friends and family that I do. I cried and
hugged Sarah, not wanting to let her go. It was so good to see her. All I
could think of was how much more I wanted to spend time with her. There
was nothing more important to me now. I didn’t need or want anything, except
my friends and family. That’s what's most important.

After some fun pictures on the front porch, we went into side to chat. Sarah
shared her surgery update, which was good. She just needed time to heal. I
was so glad things went well.
