road, I decided to pull over to let Jay drive, especially before we headed up
the snowy mountain.

Jay jumped in the driver seat and drove us up the mountain. On the way up,
I was filled with excitement. I couldn't help but think, "What else could I
do?" Snowboarding was high on my list, but it would have to wait. I needed
to take things slowly while my eye healed.

How about a peak out of my eye? Let’s see what my eye can see! I lifted the
gauze and tap up for quick peak. I really hadn’t used my eye to see for any
length of time up until that point.
