As Jimmy watched the smoldering ashes, he realized this building
            really meant something to him.

It represented his conquering of a problem.
It represented his newfound love of golf and his new bond with his father.
It represented better grades in school and a general feeling of pride in
            what he could accomplish.

The burned down building represented Jacob, the ghost of a boy long
deceased who had reached out to Jimmy and changed his life.
He couldn’t shake the feeling that he had lost a good friend.
