As he wandered into the pro shop with his head down, he almost ran
into the gentleman who had talked with him about Jacob.
The man was looking up at an old photograph on the wall of a group
of kids gathered around the cart shack, when it was first built.
Jimmy glanced up and recognized one boy in particular.
“Yes, it’s him, son. He was here from the beginning,” the old man said.
He studied Jimmy’s sad face.
“Don’t you worry about Jacob. He’ll show up when he’s needed again.”
