That would have to be Kevin Hart! He is my favorite comic. He’s hilarious! Once you get to know
me, you discover very quickly that I love to laugh and joke around. My father definitely gave me
his sense of humor!
Are you the “Cool” Mom or the “Strict” Mom?
I’m a strict Mom but with some aspects of coolness too! As a single parent, I have to be
everything to Trenton: patient, loving, kind, firm, as well as the disciplinarian.
If you had a new DC or Marvel Character created for you, what would the character be called
and what would their super power be?
She would be called “Time Traveler” and her super power would be to transcend time. I would
go back to spend more time with my mother, grandparents and others who are no longer with
me. I’d also delve into the future to see how the world will be 50 years from now. My tagline
would be “Back to the Future!”
If you could trade jobs with anyone else at DDS for a week, who would you want to trade
with?
I would trade places with the Janitorial Staff! I’d like to do it similar to an “Undercover Boss” to
see firsthand how we treat the wonderful people who pick up after us and keep our facilities
clean.
What is on your Bucket List that might surprise your co-workers?
I’d love to travel to Paris to attend Fashion Week and do some major shopping! I love a
bargain. I really enjoy shopping at thrift stores, Ross, and Saks!
What song do you sing when no one is listening?
There two (2) uplifting gospel songs that I’m enjoying right now. My first one is a song by Kierra
Sheard entitled “Hang On” and the other is a song by Donnie McClurkin entitled “I Need You.”
They both speak to my spirit.
What’s the best piece of advice you were ever given?
My beloved Grandparents instilled so many wonderful things into my existence. The best pieces
of advice they gave me were: ”With God, all things are possible!” “Believe none of what you
hear and half of what you see.” This means that you shouldn’t be persuaded by gossip nor
influenced by negative people. Things are not usually the way they appear. “With hard work,
you can become ANYTHING you want to be in life!”
