Inquiring Minds want to know what the “R” in your middle name stands for? Are you willing
to reveal that?
My middle name is Roderick! My Dad is the only person who calls me Roderick and that makes
it special to me. My nickname is “Bubba!” I got that nickname growing due to my love for Hubba
Bubba bubble gum! My Mom would give it to me, but I’d eat it instead of chewing it. That name
has stuck in my family and I have nieces and nephews who still call me “Uncle Bubba” to this
day.
What’s the best piece of advice you were ever given?
Stay humble. Do the right thing. And “I can do all things through Christ.” – Philippians 4:13. I use
this as a reference any time I come across a challenge and I have a pillow with this inscribed on
a chair in my office as a reminder.
