Services change
Daughters of the American hours of
Revolution mark grave operation
Chesterfield County’s Department
of Mental Health Support Services
has announced it will change its hours
beginning Jan. 1, to better serve its
customers.
The department will open one half-
hour earlier Monday to Friday, 8 a.m.
instead of 8:30 a.m., and will close on
Mondays at 5 p.m. instead of 9 p.m.
Department director Debbie
Burcham said this change will help
the department better meet customers’
needs, since there is a high demand
between 8-9 a.m. and throughout the
day, and the need drops after 4 p.m.
The department will be open until 9
p.m. Tuesdays to Thursdays for general
requests and for the substance-use
groups that meet in the evenings.
The new hours of operation will be:
Monday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday, 8
a.m. to 9 p.m.; Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 9
p.m.; Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
