Missed I n June 2024, Shomrim revealed that a year earlier, in June 2023,
Opportunity: Ukrainian officials offered Israel critical intelligence and operational

was the strike on Prime Minister Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea.
Shomrim’s investigation exposed the missed opportunity for
cooperation and highlighted the shared threat posed by Iranian drone
warfare in both regions. By late 2024, preliminary collaborations began
emerging between Israeli and Ukrainian defense technology companies,
combining Ukraine’s combat-tested expertise with Israel’s technological
advancements.
Impact: The investigation was widely covered in Israeli media,
including N12, and internationally by The Kyiv Independent.
