Larissa McRoy – Patient Care Technician

Larissa McRoy has worked at JHBMC for almost 15 years, but

has worked in the imaging department for the last 3 years. Anyone

that encounters Larissa knows of her infectious smile and her

compassionate bedside manner. She has become a family member

to the IR team and is always willing to help in any way she can. She

is responsible for placing 99% of the outpatient CT and MRI IV’s,

and is always available if NM needs her to help with difficult IV

sticks. She also takes care of our point of care testing equipment in

IR, transports patients, and makes sure the nurses are stocked with

all of the supplies they need. It is a privilege to work with such a

beautiful and caring person and I am honored to have her on our
team.
