COACH Q 5K
Friendly familiar faces flooded the fields of Mount Vista Park, as our
Hopkins family came to support the second annual Coach Q 5k. The Kristie
Quigley Foundation did an amazing job creating an environment that
rewarded the generosity of all the almost 300 people that could attend.
This fantastic fun filled event featured family friendly activities beyond that
of the typical 5k or fun run.
This year the event was able to raise over $40,000 dollars to support
the foundation’s charitable efforts throughout the local community. The
foundation has already donated $5,000 dollars to lift Autism, and has
fantastic plans for the raining contributions raised. Last year,
organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, Pathfinders for Autism, and
the Pediatrics Department at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, all
benefited from the foundations efforts.
“On behalf of The Kristie Quigley Foundation, we just want to thank
you from the bottoms of our hearts for the support you have given us to
support charities and organizations for children and young adults
throughout our community.”
