I am Janice E. Kelsh and I have served in several Departments including the
Department of Interior's Harper's Ferry Job Center. I started my career at the
Department of Health, Education and Welfare in August 1965 with positions
ranging from clerk/typist, secretary/typist and secretary/stenographer. After a
10-year break in service, I served as secretary at various agencies: Department
of Treasury, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in Chicago; National
Institutes of Health; and the Food and Drug Administration where I
transitioned to a Personnel Security Specialist in 2005. At the Nuclear
Regulatory Commission, I served as a Personnel Security Specialist from
2007 until my retirement. In all my positions, my main goal was to serve the
American public.
I am Krishna Roy and I served in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. I was
Chief of Global Programs for the Division of International Conservation. I
represented the United States Government at the Ramsar Convention and was
instrumental in the adoption of a hemispheric migratory bird conservation
plan at the Convention of Migratory Species Conference of Parties. I brought
my knowledge and experience to the federal government, from my work in
the nonprofit sector as a grantmaker, consultant and in senior management
positions specializing in capacity building, strategic planning, development,
and communications. I was a conservationist and social activist. In addition
to raising more than $60 million for nonprofits, I have been instrumental in
developing groundbreaking environmental media and marketing campaigns
involving public-private partnerships. I have worked on the Oscar-nominated
film “The Garden of Eden,” won a Telly for the documentary “Killing our
Oceans,” and was a principal in designing and launching Save the Tiger Fund.
I am Sara Walser and I worked at the Department of the Interior from 1980
to 1994 as the Training Director and Special Emphasis Program Manager. I
supervised and directed a staff of human resource development professionals
responsible for policy development and program delivery for 70,000 plus
employees nationwide. I served on the Steering Committee of the Office of
Personnel Management Committee on Training and Development. I
established the first Departmental Career Resource Center used as a model for
other federal agencies. I managed four learning centers across the country,
offering 500 plus courses per year. I directed executive and management
development programs, upward mobility programs and skills training. I was
