Active Older Adults
The YMCA has a committed group of members we consider to be Y Active Older Adults. These age 50 and over members stay healthy by participating in physical and social activities that enhance the spirit, mind and body. This group understands the importance
of staying connected and being part of the community.
InBody
The InBody scan uses technology that measures Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) to assess muscle mass, body fat and total body water (TBW). The results of the scan can be used to help set your benchmark and create a personalized workout plan.
Scan only cost: Members $25, Non-Members $35
Scan & Assessment: $69
Personal Training
Get more from your workout with training programs from our certified personal trainers, wellness staff and life coaches. The Tampa Y wellness staff is ready to support each individual by being accountability partners, creating programs to help you achieve your goals and create and stick to healthy lifestyle habits.
Small Group Training
Work out with a friend or meet new people and accountability partners! Small group training is the best of personal training and group exercise, with fewer people and a certified personal trainer leading a specialized program. The group works toward similar goals focusing on strength, endurance and agility.
Specialized small group training programs focus on a range of wellness goals and concentrations: specific fitness goals (cardio, strength, etc.), an apparatus and athletic training.
Adult Sports Pickleball
Come volley, lob and rally every Monday-Friday at 10am - 1pm
Basketball
If you're missing your old intramural days or you're looking for a little friendly competition, the Tampa YMCA Adult Basketball League allows
you to enjoy a sport you've always loved, get active and meet new friends. At the Y, we emphasize sportsmanship and fair play while supporting healthy competition. You'll perfect your dribbling, refine your shooting and improve your endurance as you work out alongside your new teammates.
