MEETINGS
1. 2. 3. The Advisory Board shall meet on a day and time
established by the Advisory Board Chair and the
Center Executive, and shall meet at least six (6) times
per year. Additional meetings may be scheduled
as deemed necessary by Board Development
Committee.
Special meetings of the Advisory Board may be
called at any time by the Board Chair. The business
of special meetings shall be limited to the stated
purpose of the meeting.
A special meeting may be scheduled each year to recognize Center accomplishments, program
advancements, achievement of fund raising, and recognition of volunteers and/or associates.
NOTICES
1. 2. Electronic or written notice of the time and place of regular meetings of the Advisory Board shall be
sent at least one (1) week in advance of the meeting.
Notice of special meetings shall be sent at least three (3) working days in advance.
QUORUM AND VOTING
1. One-third (1/3) of the Advisory Board or 5 members, whichever is greater, shall constitute a quorum
for the transaction of business at any meeting.
2. 3. All actions by the Advisory Board shall require the affirmative vote of a majority of those present.
The Board Chair and Vice-Chair of the Advisory Board shall be ex-officio members of all standing
committees of the Advisory Board, will be advised of all meetings, the agenda of all meetings, and
shall receive the reports and materials considered in the standing committees. They may attend
standing committees as they may deem appropriate.
