January 15th saw us hold a
Remembrance Assembly for the fallen and
wounded of the Nigerian Armed Forces. The
children were fascinated by the accounts of a
former battlefield soldier involved in many
conflicts around Africa.
The assembly also saw the school raise monies to
support the victims of war, with two widows
whose husbands were lost in conflict on active
service (See page 34 of this article).
