Trump’s Economic Era

There is evidence that Dr. Curry is correct. The
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reported in
2013 that the global surface temperature as measured by
weather satellites “has shown a much smaller
increasing linear trend over the past 15 years than over
the past 30 to 60 years.” The evidence that the earth has
not experienced an increase in global warming over the
past 15 years has caused many in the green movement
to claim that we are in a “pause” or a “global warming
            hiatus.”

President Trump replaced the climate change
page on the White House website with a fossil-fuel-
based energy policy, resurrected two controversial oil
pipelines and took action to limit the scope of the
            Environmental Protection Agency, the Agriculture
Department, and the National Parks Service. Trump has
called climate change a “hoax” and has packed his
            administration with climate-change deniers.

                    LENGTHY and DETAILED LAWS

Our federal income tax system was established in
1913 under President Woodrow Wilson, the original
was one page, today it is 72,000 pages. In the same year
Congress passed the Federal Reserve Act. Complicated
and lengthy laws can only be interpreted by authorities
because no one can understand the whole of it.

Congress often makes laws so long and
convoluted that only the big players will have the
resources to comply. These added costs make American
companies less competitive around the world. For
example, a flat rate tax system, whereby almost
