C2.4 Installation of Tactile Paving

400x400mm Marshall’s blister (tactile) paving
should be installed at designated pedestrian
crossing points, identified on the designer’s
proposed site plan.

Tactile paving must be set out in the direction
of travel of the crossing and not necessarily
perpendicular to the kerbline. The tactile
paving must provide a colour contrast to the
surrounding surface finish and be laid in two
rows of three paviors with a central third line of
two paviors as shown.
