the combined housing for both compressors A F T

          4.6.13 Acoustic Housing
It is becoming increasingly common that
we are required to install acoustic housings
to reduce noise output from coldroom and
air con compressors. These tend to be bulky
as well as expensive and in general have to
be manufactured to suit specific locations,
LA requirements and, of course, the specific
noise characteristics of the equipment to be
          quietened.

There are many suppliers of such housings but
                            D R
we have had success with using a specialist
supplier called Environ, and a typical housing
for our standard equipment (Fujitsu AOY30R
plus Silensys H49Z) is shown below for general
information only. The nominal dimensions of

          are: 1700w x 1050d x 2325h - to which must be
added at least 200mm all round for airflow.
                                                                Front View
These units are designed and manufactured to
suit a specific set of circumstances, so at least 3
or 4 weeks lead time will be required.
