Scholarship Recipient Nicolas D. Jones is a seventeen-year-old
student at Bullard Havens Technical High School in his hometown of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Nick
has a cumulative GPA of 3.3 during his four years at Bullard Havens and is currently ranked 51st in
his graduating class.

Along with serving on the student government executive board at Bullard Havens and captain of the
Bullard Havens baseball team; Nick proudly serves as the president of the Stamford Kappa League.
As his tenure as president, Nick's responsibilities include acting as the Kappa League's chief
executive officer, presiding as a non voting delegate at all Board of Directors and General
Membership meetings, appointing any special committees for the general welfare of the Kappa
League, to name a few.

Nick has been accepted to nearly all of the colleges that he has applied to Felician University, New
Jersey City University, Stockton University, William Paterson University, The University of Maine,
Husson University, Albright College, Carlow University, and Central Connecticut State University.

Nick plans to attend Felician University this fall, where he has been accepted and admitted to the
University's five-year combined BS/MBA program. He will have the opportunity to choose one of five
undergraduate majors to combine with the Master of Business Administration. Nick will have the
opportunity to graduate college with two prestigious degrees in five years.

Upon graduating college, Nick aspires to become an entrepreneur. He wants to own his business
and lead diversified teams in industries he’s passionate about including sports management, real
estate and more.
