Scholarship Recipient Brianna Wong is currently a senior student
at Central High School with a cumulative GPA of 3.76. She is a member of the National Honor
Society, SEL Ambassador Program, HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) and the
Secretary of Class of 2021. She has participated in numerous school activities to include:

 Ambassador for incoming freshman to ensure an easy transition into high school,
 school liaison to visiting professionals on Career Day,
 volunteer for Red Cross blood drives hosted by Central high school.,
 Participant in a HOSA fundraiser “BOON Supply “ to raise money for a chance to compete in
health competitions ,
 chaperone for students with special needs at Unified Sports sporting event,
 Prepared meals for Central High School's annual Multicultural Night in her community,

Brianna has volunteered her time to teach local senior citizens at the Watermark Retirement Home
on how to use their technological devices and participated in a Breast Cancer Walk which raised
approximately $1000 .

Brianna has been accepted to University of Connecticut, Central Connecticut State University,
Southern Connecticut State University, Western Connecticut State University, Quinnipiac University,
University of Hartford, Sacred Heart University, University of Bridgeport, Mercy College, Temple
University, Drexel University, Ohio Wesleyan University, and University of New Haven.

Her plans are to follow her dream to assist others with care and major in Pediatric Nursing. In
addition to working with children, she is willing to seek opportunities to make the most impact of
giving back to under-represented communities.
