P. 116

Where I pass and stand by my Lord's cross,
        There's so much suffering, such painful anguish,
             Looking to Jesus, the Lamb of God.
                         2
            His arms wide open loving and tender,
             Beckon my comfort to His embrace;
           In my stead suff'ring, paying my ransom,
            The reason for which He drank the gall.
                         3
           Flowing as fountains, from Jesus's wounds,
            Blood I see flowing, from all His veins;
            Sprinkling on my brow, impure unholy,
              All my indecency He has erased.
                         4
            His anguish over, His pageant finished,
             Redeeming offering, now all is done;
           Now His brow royal has all but withered,
           Our soul's redemption purchased at last.
                         5
          Moments so charming, rich in His blessings,
           Of peace and grace and of life and light;
            There is comfort, and many blessings,
            Close to Christ Jesus, close to His cross.

               Acts 4.16 PRAYER/ Ps 119.71 REVIVAL
            These are sweet moments while I pray,
               Upon the altar I found peace;
             When I contritely plead and implore,
               I feel God's blessings over me.
                 '    CHORUS
              Oh, Brother, come, the altar calls,
            Bring to the Lord your heart and soul;
              Come with your Brothers to enjoy,
             All of God's blessings He's prepared.
