I feel it deep in my heart this day;
I was a stranger, but Jesus brought me,
He has a mission and I will help.

He died for me, and gave me life,
And with His blood all my sins were erased;
What boundless kindness, that Jesus showed me,
His Spirit baptized and saved my soul.

I walked in darkness, astray in error,
I lived in sin and I had no fear;
My life was lonely, it was not happy,
And condemnation would be my end.

Precious the tidings that came to my ears,
From God's own Messenger sent to earth;
He spoke of Jesus, and of His doctrine,
He came to offer to save my soul.

Now I have freedom, because of Jesus,
For He has pardoned all of my sins;
I live securely and have no fear now,
This blessed promise He gave to me.

'Tis lovely to bear in the soul a remembrance,
That we were delivered from the seas of sin;
So with grateful spirit, we sing a new song,
A song which inspires great courage to all.

We all sing together, united as one,
For there's an Apostle that God sent to us;
Who has been anointed, by God he's selected,
He brought us together, and has given our souls;
