“Mom. What happens when the bus driver does not see the
hole at night?” Nguyen asked.
“Bus did not run at night time, but they started at early
morning if the bus ran over mine before the driver could see the
heaps of earth. This bus will break to a piece by the Vietminh’s
mines, and the people will die. It is very dangerous for the
traveler, so your father does not want us going back to the
village.”
“But Grandparent passed away without us...!” In the
emotion and sorrow voice, Nguyen said.
“I understood what you are thinking in your mind, but we
had nothing to choose. It is a danger to the countryside now.”
Nguyen’s mother looked at him and said.
“So if we want going back the village, we much took a bus
going to Van-Dien, passing Thuong-Tin and stop at Gout?”
Nguyen asked.
Nguyen mother nodded her head.
“Yes, but before the bus stop at Guot district, it stopped at
Van-Dien and Thuong-Tin, then pass So and Nghe district.”
“Mon. Why the bus stopped at Van- Đien and Thuong-Tin
bus-parks.”
“Because it is their schedule. Also, the travelers may change
to another bus to go to other directions, and drivers could take
some passengers for their bus on these bus parks.”
“Do you took a walk toward the village after you had
stepped Down on Got bus park?”
“Yes. It had a large dike about 50 feet wide running from
the left side of the 1st high way. It connected Guot district to
