“Oh. Bim market was in the Bai-Vang village.” My-Thanh
opened her eyes and talked in loudly.”
“Why do you know it?” Nguyen asked his sister.
“You are easy to forget...! You and I followed grandma
going there to many time. She bought a book legend stories for
you. My-Thanh replied. “Do you remember it?” She asked.
“Yes. I remembered now. From the Bai-Vang village, we
can see the church’s bell tower of Hoang-Nguyen and our
villages.”
“Yes. All of you were right.” Nguyen mother said.
Nguyen looked throughout the bus window, read some
labels on the front of stories. He had to dig deep he remember to
make sure his notes were right after the bus had 3rd stop as he
was count.
Nguyen turned around and took a careful look at the small
Guot district to find the direction of the large dike. The district
town built along on both sides of the 1st high way about two
kilometers. Therefore each time a bus passed the district on the
high way, it leased the dust flying in the air and clutched at the
front walls of the houses and stories with the ground color.
Nguyen ran toward the South of Guot district, turned right to
walk on the dam and looked at his watch.
“Oh. It was just ten o’clock. I will be back the village at
early afternoon, visit grandparent graves at three or four o’clock,
sleep in aunt Chuc’s house night and will go back Hanoi
