“My-Trinh. What do you try to tell me?” Trung-Thanh
turned to look at his son, and in the surprise voice, he asked.
“I tried to tell you about Nguyen; He went back the village
last month....”
“Did you take him back there?” Nguyen father interrupted.
“No. he was alone...!” She replied.
After a moment of thinking, Trung-Thanh started on his
son's face with a little worry in his sigh eyes.
“Do you let him go back to the village alone, while the war
had broken up anywhere in the countryside?” In the fair words,
he asked.
“No. she did not know. I wrote a note and left the house at
early morning.” Nguyen interrupted.
“Like father like son...!” Nguyen’s mother said. “Now you
knew...” She added.
Trung-Thanh held his son tighten, kissed on his front head
and laugh.
“Of course; He was my son. The man understood what he
could do, and nobody knows what he will do. My-Trinh. Do not
worry about him. I will train him to be a good boy...”
In the comforting words, he said. Then he turned to Nguyen:
“You must listen to your mother and be a good boy. I
believe what you do, but you are too young, you could not do
anything wrong to make your mother feel bad about you.”
Nguyen nodded his head.
“Yes. Father. I promise...”
