                “Your son made me cry all day at the Guot bus-park. I may
            want to die if I could not find him.”   In the bulk of words, she
            said.


                “Oh.  My  God...!  My-Trinh.  I  am  sorry...  I  do  not  know
            about these things.”   He started at Nguyen. “Nguyen, why did
            you do that for your mother.”

                Nguyen looked at the floor, while his mother kept silent in a
            moment, then she said:

                “You just said you would train him to be a good boy...!”


                “Yes; He is a good boy. One thing I knew that he loved his
            root. Sometimes we felt sorry to be away from village too.”

                “But this time is dangerous.”

                “So, I am sorry...”  He looked at Nguyen and added:


                “From now you must give up your dream. Do not go back to
            the  village.  If  you  do  not  listen  to  me,  you  will  get  a  lot  of
            trouble.”


                “Yes, father.”

                “Nguyen. How  you went back the Gout while they  fought
            out there?”   In comforting Nguyen father asked.

                Nguyen looked at his father in a moment and said:


                “I ran across the field toward the large dike, and from the
            large  dike,  I  walked  back  to  the  Guot  bus-park  at  night.
            He continuing:


                 I walked back to the Guot bus-park at night. And I met a
            mom on the waiting chair in the bus-park while I am looking for
