Nguyen’s father stone turned back to softly. The voice liked
            a sorrow and sigh.

“I wanted to tell him why I ran away from Vietminh, why I
became a Vietnamese soldier and stood on the French side. You
knew everywhere will become the battle filed any time, and I
            may get stuck in it....”

“Trung-Thanh. I do not want to hear it...!” In the sobbing
            with emotion voice, she said.

“Okay. I do not say any more word. But it was the truth we
can not run away from it.”

“I knew...! But I do not want he lost his childhood by
thinking of the dirty war.” In the fair words, My-Trinh
            explained.

Trung-Thanh looked at his son, shook his head.

“Nguyen. You understand what your mom and I just
            discussed about, do you?”

Nguyen took a quick look at his father then turned away.

“Not much... But I will try...” In a low voice, he said.

“Nguyen. Do not try to find out anything about war.

You must forget all of it; also you do not understand the true
thing about war.” In a raised and shape voice he said.

                Nguyen started at his father.

                “Yes, sir.”

Trung-Thanh had sight and sunk into the sofa, let his
children playing on the floor and looking at the ceiling.
