the battlefields. It made Nguyen carrying a lot of questions about
the war in his mind. He tried so many times to ask his mother
about his father, but she always shook her head and set him on
another subject.

The war was as a spot of fire spreading over the paper...! It
has been burning out the country, and more young men were
dying in the dirty war without a small iron bar to defense. They
had nothing more to choose to be the dead bodies for both sides
claiming their victory.

Soviet and Chinese Communist party had strongly
supporting guns and final to Vietminh. Therefore French
militarists gave the operation combat everywhere in the
countryside and cost the hundreds or the thousand persons live.

Nguyen's father was a Warrant Officer of the 10th
Sharpshooter Movable Battalion of 23rd Vietnamese Division.
He was living triple time more than he was home on the battle
front line. Few times the 10th Battalion suffered severely at the
Thai-Binh, Ba-Vi, Non-Nuoc and Cho-Noi battle-fields. Also,
