communist China and Soviet and will set Vietnamese to be the
slavers under their power.

The Nationalist Vietnamese were rising in honest, duty and
country to seek independence for Vietnam. They stuck on the
equal moral right for the people, so they could not have the
blood actions. They believed the lied words of the communist
party and French colonials. Therefore, they became weakest on
the front lines of both sides.

My-Trinh...! The war had a chance to break up, continued
spreading and destroyed anything in the whole country.
I had house, wife, and children, but I could not do what I wish to
be. I wanted to be a bird flying free on the sky with you beside
me anywhere to see our nation beauty.

As the old dates, we were around the countryside to see all
the beautiful places; sometimes I climbed up a fig-tree on the
pond’s bank to take the ripened figs for you. At that time I
always gathered the wildflowers on the field, pined it on your
hair and ran free on the foothill in peaceful of sunset. All those
memories were green in my mind, and I never forget.

I knew that the cold in your soul was renting your heart
more than the cold outside here. I had left you alone in the
sorrow of fear, and our children were without father beside.
They will grow without my words and will ask you about my
duty actions. How could you use the fair words of comfort to tell
them about me? What did you teach them to become nice
children? I understood that it was hard for you to explain my
actions for the understanding and to grow them to be the good
people in their futures.
