11.6 Students need to complete the registration and pay tuition fees within the
date, time and place that the Institute specified. Late registration, within 2 weeks of regular
semester and within 1 week of summer session, can be allowed with the late registration fine.
11.7 If a student does not register in a particular regular semester (not summer
session) he/she has to apply for a leave of absence at the Office of Registrar and pay the fee for
maintaining student status within the first 30 days of the semester; otherwise his/her student
status shall be revoked.
11.8 To audit a course, student must follow the following rules;
11.8.1 Receive permission from the Dean, and pay the full tuition fee for
the course.
11.8.2 The credit(s) of an audited course shall not be counted towards the
total credit accumulation. A student may audit a course without an
evaluation. A grade report shall bear “NC” for the audited course
and only apply to those who have at least 80 percent of class
attendance.
11.8.3 With permission from the Dean, the Institute might allow students
from other university to register some courses as a “special
student”.
11.9 In order to improve the cumulative GPA, students are allowed to repeat
registering for previously enrolled credits or other courses provided by the Institution.
11.10 Recording of the grade of the repeating courses mentioned in Clause 11.9
and calculation of the cumulative GPA shall follow the Institute’s related announcement.
11.11 Any registration deviated from the above rules requires permission from
the Dean on a case by case basis.
Section 5: Course Articulation and Transfer of Credit
12. The Institute may allow credits transfer of students who want to further their
study or enroll in a second degree at the Institution. The admitted student can apply for course
articulation and transfer of credits from their former curriculum, non-formal, or informal
education.
12.1 Course articulation and transfer of credit from curriculum education
shall adhere to the following rules:
12.1.1 The qualifications of applicants are as follows:
1) For an applicant who wants to transfer credits, he/she must
be a current or former student at other university accredited
by the Ministry of Education, or recognized by the Office of
Civil Service Commission in case of foreign university.
