12.2.1 The student must be admitted as the Institution’s student and may
request for articulation of courses or group of courses for a
particular program.
12.2.2 To accredit the work experience, student’s knowledge gained from
work experience shall be considered mainly.
12.2.3 The Program Chair is responsible for the evaluation of credit
transfer of courses or group of courses compared to courses in the
related program along with the corresponding assessment’s criteria
with the approval of the Dean.
12.2.4 The evaluation result must be at least “C” or higher for the course,
or obtain “S” in the audit course. The calculation of cumulative
GPA towards and obtaining Institute’s degree shall be based only
on the cumulative grade point average (GPAX) of the courses
studied at the Institution.
12.2.5 The credit transfer’s evaluation result can be recorded as outlined
below:
1) Credits from Standardized Test shall be recorded as “CS”.
2) Credits from Exam shall be recorded as “CE”.
3) Credits from Training shall be recorded as “CT”.
4) Credits from Portfolio shall be recorded as “CP”.
12.2.6 In order to receive the Institute’s degree, students must enroll at the
Institution for at least 1 academic year and the number of credits
transferred must not exceed three quarters of the total credits
required by the relevant program in Bachelor’s degree.
Section 6: Special Student
13. Rules for registration as a special student:
13.1 Applicant who wants to register as a special student must contact the
Admissions Center at least one month before the semester starts and must submit the requested
subjects along with the reason.
13.2 The special student must enroll in the courses after obtaining an approval
and paying for registration/tuition fee in accordance with the institute’s announcement.
13.3 If the special student enrolls in a subject and asks for an academic result,
the institute would adhere to the Undergraduate Academic Regulation.
