13.4 A special student is not entitled to change to a regular student status
unless he/she receives a special approval on a case-by-case basis.
Section 7: Adding, Dropping and Withdrawing of Subjects
14. Adding of subjects shall be done within the first 2 weeks of that regular semester
or within the first week of the summer session.
15. Dropping of subjects shall be done within the first 2 weeks of that regular semester
or within the first week of the summer session. The dropped subject shall not be recorded in the
transcript and student shall receive a full refund as credits in the student’s account for payment
of the academic semester registration, or other use as stated in the related Institution’s announce-
ments.
16. New students who register in the first academic semester may drop a subject
within the specified period stated in Clause 15, but no refund is allowed.
17. Withdrawal of subject
17.1 Withdrawal of subject shall be done after the last day of midterm
examination until 2 weeks before final examination starts in each academic semester. The letter
“W” will be recorded in the transcript for the withdrawn subject.
17.2 No refund for withdrawal of subject
Section 8: Tuition Fees
18. Tuition fees and other fees shall be in accordance with the related Institute’s
announcements.
Section 9: Duration of Study
19. The maximum duration of study for Bachelor’s degree program is 8 academic
years from the registration date as a student and students have to fulfill all requirements of the
respective program.
Section 10: Assessment and Evaluation of Student Performance
20. Every student must participate in all assessments which include quiz, midterm
and final examination. If the student does not attend any specific assessment, zero point shall
be given for that assessment. The student that misses a final examination may receive grade “F”
in that subject.
21. The Institute authorizes its instructors to assess and evaluate the score for each
subject based on the learning objectives and outcome of that subject with the approval of the
Program Chair.
