28.1 Dismissal of student status for having a GPAX lower than standard:
28.1.1 The student who obtains a GPAX below 1.50 at the end of semester
that student status is classified as stated in Clause 27.1 shall be dis
missed.
28.1.2 The student under probation has a GPAX below 1.75 for two
consecutive semesters, counting from the first classification of
student status as stated in Clause 27.1, shall be dismissed.
28.2 Termination of student status for other reasons:
28.2.1 The student has spent the maximum duration of study under
Clause 19, but could not earn enough credits required by the program.
28.2.2 The student has successfully completed the program.
28.2.3 The student has died.
28.2.4 The student has dropped out.
28.2.5 The student is dismissed or removed by the Office of Registrar
because;
1) The student had submitted a false document in support of an
application for admission.
2) The student violates the Institution’s regulation seriously.
3) The student has not registered and the student has not followed
the regulation under Clause 11.7.
Section 12: Leave of Absence
29. Student must be enrolled at least one semester before taking a leave of absence.
Otherwise a special approval from the Dean is required.
29.1 If the student wants to take a leave of absence, he/she must submit the
request approved by the Dean to the officer of Registrar and pay a maintaining fee covering
the number of semesters on leave within the specified date.
29.2 The student who is permitted to take a leave must observe the following rules:
29.2.1 During the period of permission, the student must pay a maintaining
fee for every semester, otherwise the student shall be dismissed.
29.2.2 The period of leave of absence shall constitute part of the study
period stated in Clause 19, with the exception that the student is
drafted by the military.
29.2.3 When a student wants to resume the study, he/she is required
to notify the Office of Registrar before enrolling in any course.
