30.6 The student who is allowed to change the faculty or program shall pay the
specified fee. For transfer students of Bachelor’s degree, the following rules shall be observed.
30.7 If a transfer student wants to change faculty or program, he/she has to
study in the previous program for more than one academic semester, excluding the leave of
absence or suspension period.
30.8 Changing of faculty or program can be done only once throughout the
study period. The request shall be submitted to the relevant Dean or Program Chairs and
completed the process before the registration of the coming semester.
30.9 When the student has received an approval to change the faculty or
program, the student must specify subjects and credits earned that he/she wants to account for
GPAX calculation and get an approval from the Dean or Program Chair. The GPAX calculation
shall be done after the student has completed a semester in the new program.
30.10 The student who is allowed to change the faculty or program shall pay the
specified fee.
Section 14: Cheating on an Exam
31. The student who cheats during an exam will be penalized according to the
decision made by the Examination Disciplinary Committee which composed of related
Vice-President, Dean and one representative from the Office of Registrar. The decision of
Examination Disciplinary Committee is final.
Section 15: Graduation
32. To graduate, the students must have the following qualifications:
32.1 Acquired academic credits in accordance with the requirement of the program
32.2 Have a GPAX of no less than 2.00
32.3 Average grade points of specific groups including Major Basic subjects,
Major Core subjects, and Major Elective subjects, have to be no less than 2.00
32.4 Have a good conduct and suitable for the degree awarded
32.5 No outstanding financial obligation to the Institute
33. Awarding of Honors Degrees
33.1 First-Class Honors recipients must have the following qualifications:
33.1.1 Students who are eligible for the First-Class Honors have to
achieve the GPAX of 3.50 or higher, provided that there is no “F”
or “U” in any subjects taken, never repeat registration of any
subjects under Clause 11.9 and Clause 26, and earned not more
than 150 credits.
