7. Credit means unit of studying that is defined as follows:
7.1 Lecture for 15 hours in a semester is counted as 1 credit.
7.2 Laboratory work for 30 to 45 hours in a semester is counted as 1 credit.
7.3 Work practice, field study, or other practices for 45 hours in a semester is
counted as 1 credit.
7.4 Independent study, where student is required to study and analyze by
him/herself with the advice from the instructor that takes more than 45 hours is counted as 1
credit.
7.5 Assignment of projects or other learning activities that takes no less than
45 hours in a semester is counted as 1 credit.
Section 2: Qualifications for Student Admissions
8. The qualifications for undergraduate student admissions are as follows:
8.1 Applicants must not carry any epidemic diseases or any diseases that
could obstruct the study.
8.2 Applicants must not have any serious social disgrace or dismissed from
the previous institution, and must have one of following qualifications;
8.2.1 Completion of Matthayom Suksa 6, or certificate of vocational
education or other equivalent certificates accredited by the
Ministry of Education. For applicants who hold technical or
higher vocational diploma, credit transfer of equivalent subjects is
applicable.
8.2.2 Completion of Bachelor’s degree in any major from Thai-Nichi
Institute of Technology and wish to register for Bachelor’s degree
in other major.
8.2.3 Completion of Bachelor’s degree from higher education institution
in Thailand and other countries, accredited by the Ministry of
Education.
8.2.4 A dropout with the exclusion of disciplinary dismissal. Credit
transfer is applicable if the period is less than 5 years, otherwise
approval from the Institution’s credit transfer committee is
required.
Section 3: Student Admissions
9. The applicant must follow the selection process for admission announced by the
Institute from time to time.
