JPE-202 Communicative Japanese 4 3(3-0-6)
Prerequisite : JPE-201 Communicative Japanese 3

This course is designed to study Japanese sentences and grammar at upper
elementary level, vocabulary about 900-1000 words; develop listening, speaking,
reading and writing skills; practice Japanese pronunciation for giving complicated
presentations and writing; study Kanji about 210 characters with various teaching methods
inside and outside the classroom, including practice and the use of various teaching-learning
instructional media, learn appropriate etiquette and manners to Japanese people as well
as having a proficiency test organized regularly and preparing for the Japanese Language
Proficiency Test (N4).
JPE-301 Communicative Japanese 5 3(3-0-6)
Prerequisite : JPE-202 Communicative Japanese 4

This course is designed to study Japanese sentences and grammar at pre-
intermediate level, vocabulary about 1000-1200 words; develop listening, speaking,
reading and writing skills used in the workplace, study Kanji about 270 characters with
various teaching methods inside and outside the classroom, including practice and the use of
various teaching-learning instructional media as well as having a proficiency test organized
regularly and preparing for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (N4).
JPE-302 Communicative Japanese 6 3(3-0-6)
Prerequisite : JPE-301 Communicative Japanese 5

This course is designed to study Japanese sentences and grammar at
intermediate level, vocabulary about 1200-1500 words; develop listening, speaking,
reading and writing skills to contact with external organizations; enhance expertise in
both spoken and written communication, explain and express the ideas, study
Kanji about 330 characters with various teaching methods inside and outside the
classroom, including practice and the use of various teaching-learning instructional
media as well as having a proficiency test organized regularly and preparing for
the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (N4-N3).
