The course is an introductory course for students who seek to broaden the
knowledge of vocabulary, revise basic structures of English, and reinforce speaking and
listening skills: situations will be introduced through communicative activities.

Study the overview of the fundamental psychological principles related to
behaviors and nature of human; development of personalities, intelligences, minds,
cognition, motivation, learning process as well as individual differences across various ages;
understand the importance of mental health and personal development.

The course introduces the history of industrialization in Japan; Japanese
corporate investment overseas and in Thailand; management philosophy of Japanese
multi-national companies; Japanese manufacturing cultures: concept of TQM (Total
Quality Management), Genbakanri (shop-floor management), 5S, kaizen, QC, cost
reduction in supply chain; Thai-Japanese cross culture in human resource management;
corporate social and community responsibility.
