THE-101 Communicative Thai for Non-Native 1 3(3-0-6)

The focus of this elementary course is to practice using Thai language both for
speaking and listening necessary for interpersonal communication, develop pronunciation
skills including the effect of intonation on meaning of words, and understand and practice
appropriate Thai mannerism and culture.
THE-102 Communicative Thai for Non-Native 2 3(3-0-6)
Prerequisite : THE-101 Communicative Thai for Non-Native 1

The focus of this elementary course is to practice speaking and listening skills
with emphasis on understanding the contents of the discussion on specific topics and to
communicate in various situational contexts; and effectively express opinions as required.

Corequisite : None
This course focuses on project-based learning, Thai language learning activities,
or any assigned tasks for at least 15 hours.

VNE-101 Survival Vietnamese 1 3(3-0-6)

This class focuses on the practice of listening and speaking of Vietnamese for
basic and necessary interpersonal communication under various situations including
insights into Vietnamese culture and mannerism required for effective communication.
