The course offers comprehensive study of the difference and similarity of
cultures and societies and how people in different cultures learn to live peacefully in the
multi-ethic environment. The course also aims to provide students with the ability to
apply such knowledge and understanding for the benefit of themselves, the nation and
global society.

SOE-104 Politics and Government of Thailand 3(3-0-6)

The course discusses the evolution and characteristics of Thai political and
government; organizational relationship, establishment of legitimacy and social values;
exercise of state power; political power and distribution of social benefits; trend of the
development of the political system.

SOE-105 Elements of Success Startup 3(3-0-6)
Prerequisite : None
Corequisite : None
The purpose of the class is to enable students to successfully gain concepts and
key success elements in developing and sustaining a new business venture by addressing
the whole business lifecycle including: opportunity searching and capturing, technology
selection, value creation process, and sustainable growth.

SOE-106 Introduction to Prudent Investment 3(3-0-6)

This course introduces fundamental principles of investment, investment
portfolio, risk and return analysis for non-professional investors covering financial market,
basic valuation of company’s values, and assessment of alternative investments.
