Remember to start small. You can always make it a bigger by adding some
more layers of material around the edges.
Indoor Garden
Even if you don’t have a garden plot, there’s no need to miss out on the
fun!
● The same as outdoor gardening you are looking for a place to
grow with lots of light. You will need to find a sunny window or
supplement your light with grow lights.
● To prep a windowsill garden area make sure you protect the
windowsill or table from water damage. You can place your pots in
individual saucers or in a large plastic tray to catch drainage.
● Use a good potting mix to grow in.
● Because your plants are growing in containers feed them more
and watch your watering (information on fertilizing and watering in
following chapters).
In the next chapter we’ll be looking at getting those seeds and seedlings
into the garden and growing.
