Security
Computer Access
To gain access to the health centre’s electronic systems including the intranet, EPR, The Learning Centre, email
and other software applications, you must first obtain clearance for all pre-employment requirements
outlined by HR. Once you have met all the pre-employment requirements, you can pick up your computer
login information at Switchboard.
Hospital Identification Badge
All employees of Unity Health Toronto are required to wear a Hospital Identification Badge. To obtain your ID
badge, you must present your employee number and a government issued photo identification. Typically, you
can find your employee number when you receive your computer access information. You may you’re your
picture taken and obtain your ID badge at the Security office, located on the Ground Floor, Glendale Wing,
next to the Emergency Department (see map below).
The Security Office is open to issue ID badges from 7:30 a.m. to 12p.m., and from 4p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday
to Friday. Outside of the hours, new hires can call Ext. 6382 to make an appointment at a mutually agreed
upon time.
