He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in our hearts.
Twenty five years after Cole was convicted A pardon came But Cole was restricted
In many aspects
This pardon bared his way And Cole was limited As to what he could say
But Cole wrote an Autobiography Revealing the spiritual side Of his history
What My Life has Taught Me Was the name of the last part That was the point Cole Started speaking from his heart
What a testimony It turned out to be And it inspired The poet in me
What a love for The gospel I saw And I was blessed By this outlaw
So “A Younger Odyssey” I dedicate to Cole Through a common bound
Jesus put in our soul
